A Life Update: School, the Coronavirus, and Me Trying Not to Panic
As I previously mentioned, my classes will all be online for the rest of the semester, which is disappointing for a variety of reasons, but like many across the world, I'm struggling with working from home. I've always had online classes, but I always made sure I planned everything so I would never have to do any work from my home in Lafayette. But with everything going on, there's nowhere for me to go. I can't go to a coffee shop, the libraries are closed, and everyone's being urged to stay home.
But lately I've been trying to readjust my mindset. (I've taken a lot of inspiration from Amy @afashionnerd.) So, while it's incredibly frustrating that I have to drive back to Ohio after just getting back, being back at home gives me some time to complete a variety of things. It's some time to be with my immediate family and my dogs after being away for so long. It's some time to me for knock out some reading and create in so many ways.
I know it's hard on just about everyone right now. But if we don't try and stay positive, at least a little bit, I worry that we'll break. Things are being cancelled world-wide, so you're not alone in being upset.
I plan on sharing my list of to-do's and what I want to get done during this period in the next couple of days - Stay tuned and stay healthy!
Much Love,
Jacquelyn
