November 2019 Resolution Update
Goal Meals
I can honestly say that I haven't made anything from my list this month. I've made a variety of things, mostly things that I've made in the past, but like I said, nothing from this list... Whoops!
Money & Shopping
I feel like I did really good this month. I don't recall making that many purchases, but those I did were mostly from Poshmark or Goodwill, so they were definitely a bargain. Of course I was slightly tempted by Black Friday, but my mom and I went to Ulta where she bought one of their $10 mascaras and I bought some more of my favorite foundation since I was running low, which wasn't even on sale so...
Regarding the Earth
I feel a lot better about this month than I have the prior months. I've been a lot more careful about reusing things, adding trash to make a trash Christmas tree (it's a work in progress lol), bringing home my compost, not picking up food, avoiding food waste, etc. I mean don't get me wrong, I still get really worried a lot of times, but hey at least I'm back in action! I plan to write a blog post in the future about the sustainable steps I take while I'm here on campus, most of which I started doing recently!
Reading
Though I feel like I'm kind of back in a non-reading slump, earlier this month I read Golden Child by Claire Adams, which I have mixed feelings about. They're mostly positive, but still a little mixed. Currently, however, I am reading Saint Anything by Sarah Dessen, which has been on my list for a long time, and I am about half way through it but I hope to finish it by the weekend! In relation to my Goodreads reading challenge, I am currently at 9, which is the number I got stuck at last year... In other words, I might be reading a lot this month!
The Blog
I feel really content with where everything is at right now, and I'm almost to 500 followers, which is so exciting for me! I remember when I first started this account and this blog and I maybe had 5 followers, and then I hit 100. It's been a slow growth process, but it's my growth process and I'm so proud of it.
Much Love,
Jac
